Meghan Lavallee resides in Winnipeg, and is the Director of Resource Development for Career Trek Inc. This experiential learning not-for-profit organizations creates opportunities to catapult kids to career and education success. Through working in partnership with school divisions, post-secondary institutions and the private sector, Career Trek creates opportunities for young people to succeed in their chosen career path. She has worked to establish MB’s Career Development Conference, Let’s Get to Work! and is a member of the Manitoba Association for Career Development.
Meghan’s passion for experiential learning started as a student and staff member within residence and student life communities in the post-secondary sector, while completing her BSc and PBDE. From there, she turned her love of student development to a proactive educational attainment model with Career Trek. She is currently completing her MEd (Post-Secondary Studies) at Memorial University.
Meghan loves volunteering in her community, and fosters dogs through a local rescue. She loves yoga, gardening and time in nature with her family and canine companions.
